I live in St-Kilda Melbourne Australia. I’m a Professional Clinical Hypnotherapist and have accumulated vast experience in the fields of, Hypnotherapy, Counseling, Mesmerism, and Neuro-Linguistic Programming. I have worked with thousands of individuals, one to one and in groups, showing them how to swiftly change their life. I’m certain that I have learned most of what I know from my clients as they’ve allowed me to be a part of their journeys. I’m a Member and Graduate of the Academy of Hypnotic Science with recognized and Govt accredited hypnosis qualifications. I have also qualified as a Master NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) trainer. I have attained my certificate of Advance Mind Dynamics from The Australian Academy of Hypnosis which specializes in the areas of hypnosis for the treatment of cancer symptoms, pain, and psychosomatic illness. I have also mastered the techniques of Magnestista junior, Magnetista Emeritus, and Quantum Physiology from Nice France and Turin Italy.
I’m a professional hypnotherapist, and at my clinic, I specialize in brief, solution-focused hypnotherapy. That means that I will focus on problem-solving and your future, rather than counseling, analysis, or exploration. My therapy always has a well-defined goal; so that minimal cost and time are invested to facilitate greater and more lasting change.
I’m very adept at helping clients gain a good understanding of why they are depressed or anxious, or why they continue to follow the same unsuccessful patterns in smoking or weight loss issues. I also acknowledge the fact that a good intellectual understanding of the reasons a person had certain symptoms does not necessarily result in those symptoms going away!
It’s also important for you to know that I am not a “passive” therapist. I have unconditional positive regard for every person, and compassion for the pain that life can bring. I also acknowledge the tremendous amount of courage that it takes to look honestly at ourselves.
I see my job as being a catalyst, someone to expedite the process, and you’ll find me to be very straightforward and direct in our therapy sessions. I am a strong believer in rapid and effective therapy. I will sometimes suggest that we include clinical hypnosis in our work together in order to move things along even more quickly, but that choice will ultimately be yours.
I provide individual counseling for a wide variety of issues, however, it’s not for everyone. It requires a person of intelligence, who is open to new learning. There are other therapists in Australia who would take anyone just to make money. I assure you from the outset that is not my goal.
A great deal of my work has been with adults who had a difficult childhood and were neglected by their parents, which negatively affected them in their adult life. Physical and emotional abuse in childhood can greatly limit the degree to which one can function fully and find fulfilling relationships. The journey to wholeness without help can be a little like trying to take out your own appendix. It’s one of those areas where professional assistance is almost always a necessary part of the healing process.
