FEARS have sparked up yet again for Macaulay Culkin amid reports the troubled actor is smoking up to 60 cigarettes a day.

Friends are reportedly gravely concerned for the 32-year-old as the effects of his addiction are starting to show.
“He’s coughing a lot, his teeth are yellowing, and friends and family are worried he’s killing himself”, a source told the National Enquirer.

“He’s put his nicotine addiction into overdrive. Almost every time I see him, he has a cigarette dangling from his lips and is puffing furiously”, another source said.

A radiation oncologist based in Florida, Jerome Spunberg, (who has not treated Culkin), told the National Enquirer that the former Home Alone star has “30 times the risk” of dying from the disease than someone who doesn’t smoke.

Macaulay is also hooked on cognac, beer and energy drinks, say insiders.
The star has been spotted out looking sickeningly thin of late and was mistaken for a homeless man by onlookers in London last month.

Sources say these recent troubles are the result of a breakup with his ex-stripper girlfriend.
“All of this has Mac very stressed out, and that causes him to smoke more,” a friend told.
Culkin is reportedly living with Pete Doherty, having moved into the English musician’s pad in Paris earlier this month.
Both have battled drug addictions in the past.
